I commute 78 miles--a 2 hour round trip--to enter the "Halls of Emerson." In 1999, I resigned so that I could take care of my ill father and work closer to home. As they say, "the grass is not always greener," and I learned that very quickly. I was rehired in 2001. The warm reception I received on my return was overwhelming. Emerson Hospital not only provides excellent patient care but it provides a family atmosphere for the employee. I'm proud to be an Emerson employee.
