OB/GYN care available in Sudbury
(CONCORD, Mass., March 19, 2008)--Dr. Sandra Fleming, Emerson Hospital OB/GYN, who has an office in Concord at A.F.A. Obstetrics and Gynecology, will now also see patients at Emerson Medical at Sudbury. Dr. Fleming will treat both obstetric and gynecologic patients on Tuesdays each week in an office on the first floor of the building. New or existing patients that would prefer to see Dr. Fleming in Sudbury may be treated at Emerson Medical at Sudbury. Dr. Ingrid Balcomb, an Emerson OB/GYN who practices at A.F.A. Obstetrics and Gynecology, also sees both obstetric and gynecologic patients on Wednesdays at Emerson Medical at Sudbury.

Dr. Fleming attended medical school at the Boston University School of Medicine. Board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Fleming completed her residency at Boston Medical Center.
In addition to primary and pediatric care, Emerson Medical at Sudbury offers a variety of diagnostic services, including X-ray, lab, bone density and ultrasound. Medical services are complemented by the full medical and surgical resources of Emerson Hospital, including the Bethke Cancer Center, the Clough Surgical Center and the Birthing Center.
Emerson Medical at Sudbury is the third satellite facility to be opened by the hospital. Emerson opened its Groton Health Center in 2000 and its Westford Health Center in 1998. The Center for Specialty Care on Baker Avenue in Concord opened in 2007.
