“Gail is a proven leader of perioperative services, experienced in both academic and community hospital settings,” said Kevin Whitney, RN, MA, CNAA, vice president of patient care services/chief nursing officer at Emerson Hospital. “We welcome her to the Emerson team and look forward to her contributions to the Clough Surgical Center and to the organization.”
“At Emerson, I am excited about the completion and opening of the perioperative services expansion, which is part of the hospital’s $36-million project,” said Spinale. “I am looking forward to working with the staff to streamline patient flow and to deliver patient-focused quality care.” Collectively known as Project SCORE (Surgery Center, Obstetrics, and Radiology Expansion), Emerson’s project combines new construction with a series of innovative renovations and upgrades.
