Adult CPR
Includes: adult chain of survival and importance of calling 911, signs and symptoms of cardiac arrest and stroke, techniques of adult CPR, rescue techniques for choking adults.
Pediatric CPR
Includes: infant and child chain of survival and the importance of calling 911, techniques of child and infant CPR, rescue techniques for choking infants and children, child safety and injury prevention.
Healthcare Provider CPR
Includes: use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for victims of all ages. It is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings. People who are not healthcare providers may choose to attend this course and do very well with it.
First Aid
Includes: general principles of first aid, medical emergencies, injury emergencies.

Healthcare Provider Course includes use of an automated external defibrillator and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction for victims of all ages. It is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings (i.e. doctor/dentist offices) CPR skills appropriate for healthcare workers and anyone entering a healthcare career or training program. Participants must pass a written exam and successfully complete a skills demonstration. Upon successful completion, participants receive an American Heart Association Certification Card which is valid for 2 years from date of issue.

Heartsaver CPR & AED Course focuses on: chain of survival for adults, infants and children; importance of calling 911; techniques of CPR; rescue techniques for choking; child safety and injury prevention; the signs and symptoms of cardiac arrest and stroke and instruction in the use of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED). This course is appropriate for daycare providers, fitness instructors, teachers, lifeguards, camp counselors, people who are expected to perform CPR in the workplace and anyone who desires to learn CPR to benefit their families/friends. Participants must successfully demonstrate skills. Upon successful completion, participants receive an American Heart Association Certification Card which is valid for 2 years from date of issue.

BLS Instructor Course Pre-requisite: Current Healthcare Provider Level BLS Completion Card
Course Content includes: AHA Training Network, Skills. BLS Science, Teaching and Learning Strategies, Evolution and Revolution, Watch & Practice Videos, Scenario Practice, Principles of Written Examination and Practical Evaluation, Review of AHA Course Options, Principles of Remedial Instruction, Provider Course Administration, Manikin Maintenance and Decontamination, Instructor Candidate Presentations, Written Exam.
