November 30 seasonal flu clinic
Emerson Hospital's home care department will offer a seasonal flu clinic on Monday, November 30, from 4:00-5:30 pm at the Harvey Wheeler Community Center in Concord (1276 Main Street). The clinic is intended for area residents age 60 and older and those over the age of 18 who are at high risk of complication from seasonal influenza (i.e., those with chronic medical conditions). There will be no H1N1 vaccine available at the clinic. The supply is limited and will be dispensed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The cost of the administration of the vaccine is $25 unless you have Medicare or a senior health plan. Medicare holders and those with a senior health plan should bring their cards.
