Widowed Outreach Support Group
Widowed Outreach is a mutual help group for people of various ages and in various life situations, who are grieving the loss of a spouse or intimate partner. The transition from being married to being single takes time and can be difficult. Widowed Outreach provides an opportunity to learn about the grief process while receiving support from people who are coping with similar circumstances. The group provides short-term practical advice and long-term emotional support and encouragement, and is facilitated by a licensed social worker from Partners Hospice. The group meets the first and third Wednesday of every month (except holidays) at 7:00 pm.
