Emerson Hospital corporators play an important role in connecting residents of our community to the hospital. Their activities range from supporting grassroots promotion of hospital services to serving as a ready source of volunteers to fit the hospital’s many needs, from governance to resource development. Below are recent corporator updates.
Greetings from Chris Schuster, President and CEO
What a winter it has been! As you know by now, concerns about the weather and your safety caused us to twice cancel the Emerson Health Care System Annual Meeting. It is now scheduled for Thursday, April 16, and is being “combined” with the Corporator Annual Meeting. I look forward to seeing you there.
Coming up on Saturday, March 7, from 10:00 am-3:00 pm, is the Timeless Treasures Tour, an antique appraisal fundraiser presented by the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary. Three professional appraisers will be there and will charge very reasonable fees to appraise your treasured items. You’ll learn a lot in the process, while supporting Emerson. The event will be held at the Hangar Café, 300 Baker Avenue in Concord.
I am looking forward to spring. The Auxiliary’s popular 5K Run~Walk for Cancer is scheduled for Saturday, May 30. Funds raised support cancer services at the Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital-Bethke. I hope to see you at the Thoreau Club, 275 Forest Ridge Road in Concord!
In the meantime, if you have any questions or would like further information about anything related to Emerson, please do not hesitate to call, stop by, or email me.
Thank you for all you do for Emerson Hospital!
