CONCORD, Mass., March 21, 2012 – There are two ways this spring for area residents to support the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary.
Every Tuesday throughout the month of April, Not Your Average Joe’s at 305 Main St. in Acton will donate 15 percent of customers’ spending on behalf of each diner who mentions the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary. For three weeks – April 1-7, April 29-May 5 and May 27-June 2 – Crosby’s Markets will donate 5 percent of customer sales to Emerson Hospital Auxiliary to benefit its 5K Run~Walk & Family Funday for Cancer. Proceeds from the event, which will take place June 2 at the Thoreau Club in Concord, support Emerson Hospital’s cancer programs. To participate in the fundraiser, shoppers must present a voucher at the time of each sale. Vouchers may be downloaded at http://www.emersonhospital.org/Support/Auxiliary.aspx.
