1/8/09: Emerson Auxiliary to host first evening of art and artists
The Emerson Hospital Auxiliary will host its first evening of art and artists on Friday, January 23, 2009, from 7:00-9:00 pm. The public is invited to enjoy dessert, wine, and music (provided by the String Trio from the Concord Band) while strolling through the art gallery adjacent to the hospital’s North Assembly Conference Room.
The work of several painters and photographers will be featured, and the artists will be present to discuss their work, style, and inspiration. The gallery will showcase a selection of each artist’s work, including oil paintings, giclee prints, and photographs. The pieces will be available for purchase, with 20% of proceeds benefitting the Auxiliary.
Artists participating in this event include Jean Lightman, Kathy Williams, Neil Tischler, Linda Williamson, Robert Moll, Siobhan Theriault, Margaret Wailes, Michelle Garro, Robert Bicknell, and Walter Harrington.
If you are interested, RSVP by January 20 to Anne Lehmann at 978-318-0338. Parking is free for attendees.
