1/5/12: Chris Russo photography displayed by Emerson Hospital Auxiliary
From December 15, 2011, through February 15, 2012, the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary will display photographs by Christopher M. Russo. Russo’s background as an information technology professional complements his photography expertise; he often uses technology to support and enhance his work. Russo employs the latest technologies and high-quality equipment to augment his artistic eye and to explore light and color. He uses techniques including Trueview© Perspective Correction, Truesight© Imagery, Color Calibrated Color Correct, Advanced Image Correction, and Panoramic Images.
“Photography was a natural for me because it is an artistic endeavor that is ripe with gadgetry,” said Russo. “I’m a techie kind of guy.”
Russo has lived in Massachusetts most of his life. He currently resides in Boxborough with his wife, two daughters, and four large Maine Coon Cats. His work won best in show for photography at the Bolton Fair in 2010 and 2011.
Russo has done photographic work in a variety of industries, including commercial real estate and architecture. He also specializes in product marketing, events, portraits, and weddings. To learn more about Russo’s photography business, Impression Engineering, visit www.impeng.com.
The Emerson Hospital Auxiliary supports the hospital through community awareness, patient support, and fundraising activities. Anyone interested in becoming a member or learning about the Auxiliary should contact Karen McCarthy at 978-371-2133. Visitors to the hospital may purchase the photographs, and 25% of the sale price goes to the hospital.
