6/1/11: Get ready for summer from head to toe! | Emerson Auxiliary partners with Concord salon to raise funds
From June 14-16, the Mane Escape Salon and Spa (http://www.themaneescape.com/) at 37 Thoreau Street in Concord will donate a percentage of their revenues to benefit Emerson Hospital. This promotion is the result of a partnership forged between the salon and the Emerson Hospital Auxiliary. “These events are a win-win for us and the participating businesses,” said Anne Lehmann, president of the Auxiliary. “They generate customers for the businesses and raise funds for the Auxiliary.”
This three-day promotion will include all salon and spa services, including the now hugely-popular Shellac manicures—a polish that doesn’t chip for nearly two weeks pedicures—and facials, massage, and hair services.
“Many services are popular now as we change seasons—in particular, hair highlights, airbrush tanning, and complimentary make-up lessons,” said Dee Joyce, salon owner. “This helps our customers to look great in the summer months.”
