11/1/10: Scott Paparello, DO, Receives Physician Quality Champion Award

Scott Paparello, DO, infectious disease specialist and hospital epidemiologist at Emerson, was presented with the first annual Physician Quality Champion Award, which recognizes physicians who exhibit leadership and a “patient first” ethic and serve as a clinical resource.  Dr. Paparello was cited for his role in the successful reduction in harm to patients from hospital-acquired infections.  He received the award at the hospital’s physician recognition event.
