  • Health Insurance

    Our health plan covers physician visits, hospitalization, emergency care, prescriptions, routine eye exams and a fitness benefit. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following an employee's start date.

  • Dental Insurance

    Our dental plan covers preventive care at 100%, basic restorative at 80% and major restorative at 50%. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following an employee's start date.

  • Paid Time Off Program

    We recognize the benefit that people derive from compensated time away from the workplace. That's why we provide an integrated program of compensated time off to be used for all absences including vacations, holidays, sick leave and personal days, offering you the ultimate in flexibility.

  • Retirement Savings Plan

    Emerson Hospital is pleased to provide all employees with a retirement savings program through Fidelity Investments. There is no waiting period. You decide how much to invest on a before-tax basis, up to IRS maximum. The plan has a match and core component funded by Emerson Hospital; this contribution to the plan is determined at the start of each calendar year.

  • Life and Long Term Disability Insurance

    At Emerson Hospital, we give you the opportunity to provide your dependents with a lifetime of financial security with basic group and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) insurance. Emerson Hospital provides employees entitled to full-time benefits with basic life and AD&D insurance coverage. Emerson provides this insurance coverage at no cost to the eligible employees. Coverage includes a death benefit, accelerated benefits and a terminal illness benefit. The coverage also has a conversion privilege.

  • Scholarship Programs

    Emerson Hospital offers a Nursing Scholarship Program to assist nursing students who are employed by Emerson. Students must foster and perpetuate the values of excellence, respect and service. This program also applies to employees enrolled in pre-nursing courses.

  • Tuition Assistance

    We provide tuition reimbursement for degree-related courses at accredited colleges. Courses taken for CEU, non-degree or work-related purposes are also reimbursed (certain maximums apply based on employment status).

  • Employee Assistance Program

    Confidential counseling is available to employees and their families seeking professional guidance with personal or work-related issues.
