Health Insurance

Our health plan covers physician visits, hospitalization, emergency care, prescriptions, routine eye exams and a fitness benefit. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following an employee’s start date.

Dental Insurance

Our dental plan covers preventive care at 100%, basic restorative at 80% and major restorative at 50%. Coverage is effective on the first of the month following an employee’s start date.

Earned Time/Extended Sick Leave

Tuition Assistance

We provide tuition reimbursement for degree-related courses at accredited colleges. Courses taken for CEU, non-degree or work-related purposes are also reimbursed (certain maximums apply based on employment status).

Rina K. Spence Award

The Rina K. Spence Endowment Fund honors the efforts of Emerson employees, and is used to finance an annual award (certain maximums apply based on employment status) for those who have completed one year of service. The fund enables you to increase your knowledge and competence in an area of interest outside of your job responsibilities. Examples include fine and performing arts, crafts, horticulture, wood and metalworking, and culinary arts.
