The Betty Winter Anticoagulation Management Center
The Anticoagulation Management Center provides outpatient services to monitor and manage medications to prevent blood clots.
The Center is staffed by nurses and pharmacists who are responsible for your care coordination to ensure accuracy and timeliness for individual treatment plans. The clinical staff provide ongoing assessment, education and dose instructions. Blood tests are performed by fingerstick. Patients also have the opportunity to participate in clinical trials that may lead to better options for those requiring anticoagulation therapy in the future. Administrative support is also a component of the Center to aid patients in managing registration, insurance and other financial issues – allowing our nurses and pharmacists to focus their efforts on patient care.
At the Center, patients have access to the latest in monitoring equipment, a comfortable and private waiting room and free parking.
Thanks to a generous gift from Neil Rasmussen and Anna Winter Rasmussen, the Betty Winter Anticoagulation Management Center was named in memory of Mrs. Rasmussen’s mother.
The Center is located on the second floor of the Emerson Center for Specialty Care, 54 Baker Avenue Extension, Suite 202 in Concord. Click here for directions.
