Outpatient Physical Therapy Staff in Concord


Sarah Alimi, PT, DPT, Senior Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Alimi has seven years of experience in the outpatient setting with a focus on orthopedic conditions and also is involved in the Center’s Spine Rehabilitation Program. She graduated from Upstate Medical University with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
Clinical Interests: Post surgical rehabilitation, shoulder and knee rehabilitation

Patty Bicker, PT, Senior Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Bicker graduated from Sargent College of Boston University and has over 20 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy with an emphasis in orthopedics, spine and manual therapy. Prior to  Emerson Hospital, she worked at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. She organizes and manages staff in-services.
Clinical Interests: Manual therapy (McKenzie, Mulligan and Maitland-Australian based approaches) for musculoskeletal problems

Blithen Davis, MSPT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Davis graduated from Northeastern University with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Prior to joining the Emerson staff, Ms. Davis worked for New England Baptist Hospital in their Spine Program and in an outpatient sports physical therapy clinic. She specializes in spine and pregnancy related conditions. Ms. Davis is involved in the Spine Rehabilitation Clinic at Emerson Hospital.
Clinical Interests: Spine, prenatal & postpartum conditions, orthopedics and sports rehabilitation

Vivien Fiset, MSPT, Clinical Coordinator, Chief Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Fiset graduated from McGill University with a degree in Physical Therapy and received a Masters in Rehabilitation Administration from Boston University. Ms. Fiset has over 30 years of outpatient experience and has developed and designed multiple programs including the Better Balance Clinic, Be Strong Cancer Exercise Program, Vestibular Rehabilitation Program, and Lymphedema Treatment Program among others.
Clinical Interests: Vestibular rehabilitation and vertigo treatment, balance and falls prevention, lymphedema management, breast cancer rehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation with specialty in shoulder problems and total joint replacement
 
Jessica Gravel, PT, DPT, Senior Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Gravel graduated from the University of Hartford with a Masters in Physical Therapy and the MGH Institute of Health Professions with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Prior to joining the Emerson team, she worked at an outpatient sports physical therapy clinic.  Ms. Gravel specializes in sports and orthopedic injuries and is involved in the Center’s Be Strong Cancer Exercise Program. 
Clinical Interests: Orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, post surgical rehabilitation, lumbar and cervical spine pathologies, ACL prevention wellness program, and concussion management

Linda Holland, PT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Holland graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to working for Emerson, Linda worked in home care, outpatient and inpatient rehabilitation in Massachusetts and The Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in San Diego. Her present focus is neurological impairments though she also treats orthopedic conditions. She is certified in LSVT(TM)BIG, a specialized program for Parkinson’s Disease and she is a Parkinsons Wellness Recovery clinician.
Clinical Interests: Adult neurology particularly Parkinson's Disease and Stroke rehabilitation, balance and fall prevention and adult and adolescent orthopedics
 
Karen Killoy, PT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Killoy graduated from Simmons College with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy and has 30 years experience at Emerson Hospital as an outpatient physical therapist.  She has a strong background utilizing McKenzie, Maitland, and Mulligan manual therapy techniques.
Clinical Interests: Orthopedic injuries, lumbar and cervical spine pathologies, and vestibular therapy

Courtney Larguinho, PT, DPT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Larguinho graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell in 2011 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Her undergraduate degree is in exercise physiology.  Prior to joining the Emerson staff, she completed Doctoral internships with Emerson Hospital and Newton Wellesley Hospital focusing on outpatient care.  Ms. Larguinho is active with the Better Balance clinic and the Concussion Program at Emerson. She is certified in LSVT®BIG, a specialized program for Parkinson’s Disease.
Clinical Interests: Concussion management, neurological, vestibular and orthopedics issues and sports rehabilitation.

Debbie Lennon, PT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Lennon graduated from Quinnipiac University and has worked at Emerson since 2008.  She is co-coordinator for the LSVT®BIG program for Parkinson’s patients, and has a diverse clinical background treating spine disorders, headaches, TMJ dysfunction, neurological and balance disorders, and sports medicine issues for both the adult and pediatric populations. 
Clinical Interests: Manual therapy, gait and balance training, therapeutic exercise, and patient education with an emphasis on a holistic approach.

Julie Lorden, PT, DPT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Lorden graduated from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.  Her undergraduate degree is in exercise physiology.  Prior to joining the Emerson staff, Julie completed Doctoral Internships with Lahey Clinic and St. Joseph Hospital focusing on orthopedic, vestibular and neurological outpatient care.  She is certified in the LSVT®BIG program for Parkinson’s patients, and is involved in the vestibular rehabilitation program, Better Balance Clinic and ACL injury prevention wellness program at Emerson Hospital.
Clinical Interests: Neurological particularly Parkinson's and stroke rehabilitation, vestibular, orthopedics and sports rehabilitation, and concussion management.

Eileen Maloney, RPT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Maloney has over 30 yrs of experience working in a variety of settings including inpatient and outpatient hospital departments, school, early intervention, and skilled nursing facilities. She developed and expanded lymphedema and pelvic health programs.
Clinical Interests: Pelvic health, rehabilitation, pain, incontinence, constipation, lymphedema management, medical pain management including headaches, abdominal and intestinal pain

Marcia Reinstein, PT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Reinstein graduated from Sargent College at Boston University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. She attained her personal training certification in 1995. Prior to working at Emerson, she worked in the inpatient and outpatient settings at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. Her clinical experience includes treatment of a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological impairments with patients' ages ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Clinical Interests: Acute and sub-acute orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation for teens, adults, and older adults

Debbie Smith, PT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Smith graduated from Russell Sage College with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. She has 35 years experience in various settings with an emphasis on orthopedics and sports injuries. She is trained in manual therapy including Paris, McKenzie, Jones, Cranio-sacral, Myofascial Release, Reiki, Manual Lymph Drainage, and Muscle Energy techniques as well as spinal stabilization, Kinesio taping and Pilates.
Clinical Interests: Orthopedics, manual therapy, myofascial release, breast cancer and lymphedema, balance and fall prevention, spinal stabilization and tempo-mandibular joint problems

Christine Solakian, PT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Solakian graduated from Rockhurst University with a Bachelors of Science in Physical Therapy. She has experience in a variety of clinical settings including outpatient orthopedics, home care, skilled nursing, and acute care.  She was a lecturer in Kinesiology at Lasell College.
Clinical Interests: Spinal evaluation and treatment, core stabilization, sacroiliac joint dysfunction and muscle energy techniques, myofascial release, Reiki, shoulder rehabilitation, strength training and program design, and evaluation and treatment interventions for running injuries

Karen Ting, PT, Staff Physical Therapist
Experience: Ms. Ting graduated from McGill University with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. Prior to Emerson, she worked in various clinical settings, including inpatient and outpatient orthopedics and home care. She has taken continuing education courses in McKenzie,  Maitland, spinal stabilization, and shoulder rehabilitation.
Clinical Interests: Orthopedics, geriatric rehabilitation
