Partnership with Boston Hospitals
Emerson Hospital’s cancer program is strengthened by its relationship with several highly regarded Boston hospitals. As a result of Emerson’s formal affiliation with Dana-Farber/Partners CancerCare, Emerson patients have access to numerous clinical research trials. Dana-Farber/Partners specialists, who are on staff at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), attend cancer panel meetings at Emerson in order to discuss treatment plans. They are often available to provide second opinions on site.
Emerson radiation oncology physicians, who are on staff at MGH, draw on the resources there when their patients at Emerson need additional resources, such as specialized treatment or technology.
