Nursing clinical placement opportunities
The Emerson Hospital nursing department affiliates with more than 12 area nursing programs. Experiences range from semester rotations, senior placements with nurse preceptors and practicums to course projects.
The nursing department is a member of the Massachusetts Northeast-Central Centralized Clinical Placement (CCP) project. This site is used to request all clinical placements and to access general instructor and student credentialing requirements.

Emerson employees who wish to pursue a nursing career are supported in their efforts through tuition reimbursement, the nursing scholarship and flexible work scheduling.
Student information
Parking for all students and instructors is located across Route 2 in the Concord Healthcare Center parking lot.
- Do not attempt to walk to the hospital from Concord Healthcare Center. Wait for Emerson's shuttle service.
- The Emerson Hospital shuttle will pick you up at the lot and bring you to the front entrance.
- The shuttle makes regular trips to and from the hospital to the parking lot until 6:00 pm.
- Evening students will be allowed to park on campus in employee parking. The parking department will issue stickers for student parking validation. Instructors are asked to contact the parking garage prior to the beginning of the semester.
- Parking tickets for the garage cannot be validated. Students without stickers will be charged the hourly parking rate for the day.
- Student parking in patient parking areas will be subject to the rules and policies of Emerson Hospital.
