Consultation on Medical Floors
Patients admitted to the hospital for medical reasons are sometimes determined to have concurrent addictions issues. These patients can be seen in consultation by an Addictions Clinician by referral from the attending physician. The clinician performs a full assessment, speaks with family or outpatient providers with consent from the patient, and makes recommendations for follow up care and referrals as indicated.
