Home Care
Emerson Hospital Home Care is available 24 hours a day/ 7 days a week to homebound patients of all ages. Primary home care services include:
- Professional nurses who deliver medical care as ordered by physicians such as changing dressings, teaching and supervising the management of medications, administering IV therapy, and other services.
- Rehabilitation professionals who work with patients to restore function and independence using physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
- Mental health clinicians for individuals who have recently been hospitalized with a mental health diagnosis, or who have behavioral changes, or increased symptoms of psychiatric illness.
- Home health aides who assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, exercising, and other activities.
