Dr. Paul Re Recognized for Fifteen Years of Care to Orthopedic Patients

At Emerson Hospital’s recent Physician Recognition Dinner, Lexington resident Paul Re, MD,  was honored for his fifteen years of service to patients at Emerson. As Chief of the Orthopedic Service and Chief of Sports Medicine at Emerson, Dr. Re has cared for thousands of patients who suffer from musculoskeletal issues that affect their bones, joints, ligaments, tendons, muscles or nerves.

Dr. Re received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital where he was the Chief Resident. Dr. Re also completed three fellowships: in molecular biology at Columbia University, in spine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and in sports medicine at Tufts New England Medical Center. He is board-certified in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine. Dr. Re’s clinical interests include arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, and shoulder surgery.
