  • Medical gastroenterology, evaluation, treatment and management of digestive disorders using medication, diet and other lifestyle changes  
  • Colonoscopy and sigmoidoscopy, tests to screen for and help diagnose colorectal cancer 
  • Gastroscopy, an upper endoscopy that uses advanced video endoscopic equipment to examine the esophagus, stomach and duodenum (first part of the small intestine)
  • Gastrointestinal surgery by a GI surgeon fellowship-trained in minimally invasive surgery
  • Pediatric gastroenterology that provides GI expertise for infants, children, adolescents and teens
  • Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatogram (ERCP), a sophisticated procedure that combines an endoscope with X-ray to examine the tubes that drain the liver, gallbladder and pancreas
  • Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), a procedure that combines endoscopy and ultrasound to provide a gastroenterologist with detailed images of the digestive tract and its adjacent organs and tissues

Now Open: Emerson Endoscopy & Digestive Health Center In Concord

With an experienced gastroenterology team and the latest equipment, the Emerson Endoscopy and Digestive Health Center provides innovative and conventional ways to diagnose and manage all types of digestive diseases in a state-of-the-art outpatient setting. Routine screenings, such as colonoscopies, are also available. The Emerson Endoscopy and Digestive Health Center is located at 310 Baker Avenue, Concord, just down the road from the main hospital.
