ACL RETURN TO PLAY ASSESSMENT

For an athlete, injuries are often part of the game, but one of the most devastating can be an injury to the ACL of the knee. When facing this challenging injury, it is important for patients to seek out a qualified Sports Physical Therapist to oversee their rehabilitation. Here at the Clough Center for Sports Medicine & Performance we staff highly qualified therapists who utilize the latest technology and our state-of-the-art sports clinic to get you the care that you need. Once you’ve recovered, our ACL Return to Play Assessment will put you to the test, and measure your overall strength, explosiveness, and sports specific stability. Our Sports PTs will use this information to help you prepare to get back in the game!

cONCUSSION REUTRN TO PLAY

We at the Clough Center for Sports Medicine & Performance are fortunate to work closely with the Robert C. Cantu Concussion Center here at Emerson Health. Under the guidance of Dr. Cantu himself, we have developed a research-based approach to treating concussion injury with a variety of therapies including Sports Physical Therapy. For athletes, Concussion symptoms can go far beyond the normal pains and strains of the game. We work closely with our Concussion Cetner providers throughout the course of your recovery to maximize your chances of success. At our state-of-the-art sports clinics we focus on restoring an athlete’s specific strength, and cardio conditioning as well as the dynamic balance and agility skills needed for their game. And when the athlete is ready, we will utilize our Concussion Return to Play Assessments to gather important information about an athlete’s readiness for a return to the field!
