X-Ray | Emerson Hospital
An X-ray is a noninvasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose a wide array of medical conditions. With X-ray imaging, the part of the body being examined is exposed to a small dose of radiation to produce pictures of the inside of the body.

At Emerson Hospital, we use advanced X-ray imaging to diagnose: We also perform several specialized X-ray tests to diagnose specific conditions, including: When the X-ray beam is used with a video screen, this technique is called fluoroscopy. This allows physicians to visualize the movement of a body part, an instrument or dye (contrast agent) through the body in real time.

Diagnostic X-ray and specialized fluoroscopy services are available at Emerson’s main campus in Concord.

Routine diagnostic X-ray services are available at the Center for Specialty Care, Westford Health Center, Emerson Medical at Sudbury, and Emerson Hospital Health Center in Groton.
