Complaint/Feedback

Complaint/Feedback Submission Process

When you or a loved one is a patient at Emerson, it is important to know that we’re committed to providing high-quality and safe care that’s personalized to your individual needs. We further commit to service excellence in all that we do.

We recognize, however, that there may be a time when we don’t deliver on this commitment to your satisfaction. If you ever have a concern or complaint about patient safety, or the quality of care or service that you received here at Emerson, you are encouraged to speak directly to the providers, or appropriate supervisors or management staff. Should your concerns not be resolved to your satisfaction, our service excellence coordinator is here to listen and facilitate resolution.

Concerns regarding patient care and safety may be communicated to Emerson’s Quality and Patient Safety Department by calling the Emerson Hospital compliments and concerns phone line at 978-287-3385, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. After hours, please leave a confidential voice mail message and your call will be returned promptly.

If you feel that your concerns haven’t been resolved by our organization, you may contact The Joint Commission, our accrediting body:
