Millions of people have lung disease, which can make it difficult to breathe. To help with treatment, the Better Breathers Club at Emerson Hospital, an information and support group for people with lung disease and their family and friends, is continuing its 2015-2016 lecture series. The next session will take place on Thursday, December 17th from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Terrie Enis, Director of Rehabilitation Services at Emerson, will talk about the importance of exercise for people who have lung disease. The lecture will be held at the Emerson Hospital Cheney B conference room, located near the main lobby of the hospital at 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner in Concord. The event is free and open to the public.
The Better Breathers Club is open to anyone who is living with lung disease and their family and friends. Lectures will continue on the third Thursday of the month from 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Emerson Hospital. Upcoming topics include better breathing thru quigong and yoga, eating well, and understanding your pulmonary medication. There is no cost to participate and refreshments are provided.
