Michael Hachey Joins Emerson Hospital as Senior Vice President and CFO


Emerson Hospital announced today that it has named Michael Hachey its new Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.  In this role, the Westford resident is responsible for the oversight of all of Emerson’s financial operations.

Mr. Hachey has more than 25 years of experience in health care finance. Since 2003 he has served as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Mercy Health System of Maine in Portland. Previously, he was the Chief Operating Officer for Miles Health Care, a subsidiary of MaineHealth. He also served as the CFO of Miles Health Care and St. Andrews Hospital, part of MaineHealth. He began his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young.

Mr. Hachey holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Business Administration from Thomas College in Waterville, Maine. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and is a Certified Public Accountant. He recently relocated from Maine to Westford, Massachusetts.
