Busting Breast Cancer Myths – Free Workshop on October 28

Think you know all there is to know about breast cancer? Think again! To commemorate October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Thoreau Club is hosting a workshop on busting breast cancer myths.  The event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, October 28 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at The Thoreau Club, 275 Forest Ridge Road, Concord.

Dr. Robin Schoenthaler, Radiation Oncologist MGH Department of Radiation Oncology at Emerson Hospital and Director of Medical Education at Emerson Hospital, will present  an enlightening and informative session. Participants will learn how to reduce their risk of breast cancer through healthy lifestyle behaviors and get their questions answered in this interactive workshop. Registration for the event is complimentary and part of Thoreau Club’s HealthyCare series. Bring your friends and loved ones and become educated about breast health.
