Nia® is a unique fitness class designed to positively shape the way people feel, look, think and live. The cardio fitness program incorporates martial arts and dance.
The Emerson Wellness Center for Mind and Body is offering a six-week Nia class. The cost is $90 per person, and classes start on Thursday, September 10, from 4:15-5:15 pm. A $17 drop-in option is also available. During the class, participants practice mindfulness, holistic fitness and well-being. Benefits include weight loss, strengthened muscles and improved muscle tone.
The class will be taught by popular instructor Suzanne Liebich who is certified in therapeutic dance. The class will meet at The Emerson Wellness Center for Mind and Body, located at 310 Baker Avenue in Concord. Free parking is available in the office park.
