Are you interested in learning the latest on breast cancer prevention, research and treatment options? The Thoreau Club is hosting a free workshop called Take Control: Demystifying Breast Cancer Prevention. The event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, November 2 from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at The Thoreau Center, 275 Forest Ridge Road, Concord.
Dr. Susan Sajer, Oncologist with the Mass General Cancer Center at Emerson Hospital-Bethke, will present an informative talk about breast cancer health. The talk will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with Dr. Sajer, Dottie Hunter, Section Leader, Mammography/Ultrasound and Stacey Thoms, Mammography Technologist, with the Hermel Breast Health Center – Emerson Hospital. The team will address your questions and concerns and provide the information you need about breast health.
