Free Workshop on July 20: Skin Sense – How to Protect Yourself and Your Family This Summer

Are you confused about the labeling of sun protections? Would you like to learn how to keep yourself and your family safe in the sun this summer?  The Thoreau Club is hosting a free workshop, called Skin Sense, to help demystify summer sun protection and keep your skin healthy.  The event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, July 20th from 6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. at The Thoreau Center, 275 Forest Ridge Road, Concord.

Dr. Skolnik, President of the Massachusetts Academy of Dermatology, former Chief of Dermatology at Emerson Hospital, and Concord resident, will present an informative workshop about skin health. Participants will learn about prevention and early detection of skin cancer, receive sunscreen information and participate in a question and answer session. Dr. Skolnik, along with his partner Dr. Steven Franks, sees patient of all ages at Family Dermatology, PC in Concord.
