Healthy Heart Lessons from Real Life – Free Workshop on February 24

Are you at risk for heart disease? To commemorate February’s American Heart Month,  The Thoreau Club is hosting a free workshop to help people identify risk factors for heart disease and learn tips for preventing cardiac issues. The event is open to the public and will take place on Wednesday, February 24 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at The Thoreau Club, 275 Forest Ridge Road, Concord.

Ginny Dow, RN, BSN, BC, CCRP and Manager of Emerson Hospital’s Cardiac Rehabilitation and Prevention Program, will present an informative session. Participants will learn risk factors for heart disease, tips for prevention, and get a prescription for a healthy lifestyle. There will be time for questions.
