Fantastic Forties – A Cocktail Party on September 23 to Benefit Emerson Hospital’s Emergency Department

The Auxiliary of Emerson Hospital invites the community to attend Fantastic Forties – A Cocktail Party at the Collings Foundation on Saturday, September 23 from 7 – 11 p.m. to benefit Emerson Hospital’s Emergency Department. The festive evening will include cocktails, appetizers, live band, raffle, auction and more, amidst the private collection of antique planes, ambulances and automobiles at the Collings Foundation in Stow.

Hosted by Bob and Caroline Collings of Stow, attendees will enjoy a unique and fun event with a backdrop of the Fantastic 1940s theme. While participants enjoy fabulous food and entertainment, they can view the antique forms of transportation.

“Since the 1940s, Emerson has cared for more than one million patients in our Emergency Department, which makes the 1940s theme of the evening particularly fitting,” said Christine Schuster, Emerson Hospital President and CEO. “With generous community support from this amazing philanthropic event, we will continue to ensure that advanced, high-quality care will be available to everyone seeking adult and pediatric medical attention in our renowned Emergency Department,” she added.

Chairwomen of the event are Leah Butler and Lisanne Wheeler of Concord who run Tribe Design and Events, a special events agency, and Jen McGrath, also of Concord. The Fantastic Forties event is generously supported by The Haartz Corporation, our presenting sponsor, as well as Armstrong Ambulance, Emerson Emergency Physicians, Dr. Joseph Bergen and Dr. Marcia Bergen, Dr. James Nairus and Dr. Deborah Greene, and Doug and Christine Schuster.
