The
Auxiliary of Emerson Hospital invites the community to attend “Old Age Ain’t
For Sissies – Demystifying Elder Care,” a light dinner and important conversation
with eldercare professionals on Wednesday, May 3 from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30
p.m. The event will take place at
Emerson Hospital in the Cheney Conference Room located near the hospital’s main
lobby.
Panelists
include: Moderator Janet Benvenuti, founder of Circle of Life Partners and
author of Don’t Give Up on Me, Dr.
Sunita Hanjura, a geriatrician who practices at Emerson Primary Care Associates
of Bedford, Emily Tamilio, RN, Regional Director of CareOne and Kelly Magee
Wright, Executive Director, Minuteman Senior Services. The event is recommended for people who are navigating
the aging journey themselves or for their loved ones.
Topics of
the evening will include discussions about strategies for keeping elders
healthy, the continuum of caring for
aging adults, programs, services and resources for aging at home and
alternatives to living at home. The event is sponsored by CareOne.
