2021 Emerson Hospital 5k Run~Walk for Cancer Care Will Be Virtual This May

Roy and Randy Kring

Registration is now open for Emerson Hospital’s 22nd annual 5k Run~Walk for Cancer Care. All proceeds go directly to support patients who receive cancer care at Emerson Hospital.

The virtual event will take place Saturday, May 1, through Saturday, May 15. Visit www.emersonhospital.org/5k for details, to register, and make a donation to support cancer care at Emerson Hospital. Everyone who registers will receive a Run~Walk thank you kit, including a high-performance race t-shirt.

During this time of distancing, the Run~Walk is a great opportunity for human connections. Encourage family members and loved ones from near and far, schools, sports, and community groups to come out and exercise while supporting people in the community who have cancer. See who can log the most miles and raise the most money. Pets are welcome to participate, too!

All funds raised will provide compassionate care, including therapeutic acupuncture and massage therapy, transportation, and more for people who receive cancer care at Emerson Hospital. For more information, email runwalk@emersonhosp.org, call Emerson’s Development Office at 978-287-3084, and follow us on Facebook and Instagram @EmersonHospital5K.

For the seventh year in a row, the presenting sponsor of Emerson’s Run~Walk is Cambridge Savings Bank. Tribute sponsors are: The Kim Patenaude and Rory Fivek Real Estate Group at Barrett Sotheby’s and Blackbird Cafe.

Thank you for making this year’s Run~Walk the best yet!
