Experience
Dakota graduated from Springfield College with a Bachelor of Science in 2018 and a doctorate in physical therapy in 2020. During her time at Springfield College, she was a member of the women’s soccer team and also served as the secretary for the student physical therapy organization. Her clinical interests include treating sports and orthopedic injuries and working with soccer players. Dakota established an ACL injury reduction program through Emerson, which is provided to local sports teams in the area. Dakota is also co-chair of the sports care team at Emerson with the goal of establishing programs and improving overall rehabilitation for the athletic population. Dakota is a certified strength and conditioning specialist through the NSCA, which assists in rehabilitation of all patients. Past work experience includes working as a staff physical therapist at an outpatient rehabilitation clinic in Connecticut.
