Educated in the United Kingdom and the United States, Ms. Morgan has more than 35 years of experience in speech therapy, with a background in pediatrics as well as adult acquired brain injury. Currently, she evaluates and treats adolescent through geriatric patients with a patient/family-centered approach using a foundation of research-based best practices. She strives to empower patients and enhance their quality of life through education, restoration and/or compensatory coping skills.
Prior to Emerson Hospital, Ms. Morgan worked at North Shore University Hospital (NSUH) in New York and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital in Massachusetts. She designed the Dysphagia Treatment Program for Inpatients and Outpatients at NSUH. She has presented to local support groups and published locally to expand community education/awareness in the areas of stroke, Parkinson’s disorder and post-concussion syndrome.
