Ms. Canowitz is a graduate of The Ohio State University and received her master’s degree in speech language pathology. She has worked with both adults and children over her career but has found her passion helping children and families learn to communicate and interact through challenges. The outpatient clinical setting is where she feels she does her best work through the opportunity to work with both the child and their caregivers to promote the carryover of the skills being learned. Ms. Canowitz has experience with children of all ages and has a strong focus on maximizing functional communication to improve a family’s quality of life.
