ATRI aquatic certification
Aquatic therapy, acute and post-surgical orthopedics, adult neurology, and limb loss
Marcia Reinstein graduated from Sargent College at Boston University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in physical therapy. Before starting at Emerson’s Center for Rehabilitative and Sports Therapies in 2010, she worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings. In May of 2015 she attained her ARTI aquatic therapy certification and now works with patients both on land and in the pool. Currently she is the chair of the Pool Care team and in the process of getting her American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) aquatic certification. Clinical experience includes treatment of patients ranging from age 8 to geriatric with a wide variety of orthopedic and neurological impairments. She is a member of the APTA, including the aquatic section.
