About Me
Learning my patient's stories and getting to understand who they are is the most rewarding part of my primary care practice. I am humbled and feel privileged that my patients entrust me with their care, and I have been enriched beyond measure by sharing their life experiences — the good and the bad — with them and their loved ones. As a primary care internist, I feel I can "see the forest, not just the trees," that is, gain comprehension of how a person's history and lifestyle, illnesses and aspirations are intertwined with the totality of their existence. From these insights, we can try and determine the best path forward when dealing with diagnosing and treating patients as unique individuals, respecting their needs, and allowing them to share in deciding what they need for their care.
