Alexandra Jackson, PsyD Neuropsychologist

Dr. Jackson received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the American School of Professional Psychology in Washington, D.C. She completed her internship and post-doctoral fellowship at WestSide NeuroRehabiltation Services in Lewiston, Maine, in 2011, where she evaluated and treated individuals with acquired brain injury. Her work at WestSide also involved scientific research on brain injury, and she has presented her findings at several international neuropsychological conferences. Dr. Jackson specializes in the neuropsychological evaluation and management of sports-related concussion injuries. She is particularly interested in the gender differences in concussion injuries.

Neal McGrath, PhD Neuropsychologist

Dr. McGrath is a nationally-recognized neuropsychologist in the area of sports concussion. He has practiced in the Boston area for the last 30 years, specializing in the evaluation and rehabilitation of traumatic brain injuries. In 2011, Dr. McGrath was presented with the National Athletic Trainers' Association Clint Thompson Award for Clinical Advancement for his paper "Supporting the Student-Athlete in the Classroom after a Sport Related Concussion", and has collaborated on a number of clinical studies about concussion recovery. He is a consulting neuropsychologist for the NeuroRestorative Acquired Brain Injury Program, the Massachusetts Statewide Head Injury Program, and the Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission, and is a Credentialed ImPACT Consultant.

Katelynn Cataldo, AGPCNP-BC Nurse Practitioner

Katelynn is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner and holds a master's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Worcester. She is also certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is currently working on becoming a credentialed ImPACT consultant with a focus on post-injury care.

Caitlin Guiney, FNP-C Nurse Practitioner

Caitlin is a family nurse practitioner, board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She earned a bachelor’s degree in biology from Colby College where she played field hockey, followed by a master’s degree in nursing from Regis College. Before joining the Emerson team, Caitlin worked on COVID and HIV vaccine candidates and therapeutics at the Center for Virology and Vaccine Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Caitlin enjoys living in Massachusetts with her fiancé and dog and spends her free time outdoors hiking, biking and Nordic skiing.

Ellen is a board-certified family nurse practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology from University of Connecticut. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in nursing from Regis College in Weston, Mass. Before joining the Emerson team, she worked at community walk-in clinics for several years in various locations around the state. Ellen grew up in Connecticut and now lives with her husband and two dogs in central Massachusetts.
