Support Programs

Take advantage of an extensive roster of support services and groups designed to augment the medical care Emerson provides. Services range from physical therapy and home care, to support groups for patients and families with specific health conditions.
 

Health Screenings & Events

You can participate in a wide range of hospital-sponsored events including lectures, community health fairs, health screenings and more — many low-cost or free, and all locally accessible
 

Youth Risk Behavior Survey

This Emerson-sponsored biennial survey of public school students provides insight on timely topics, and helps health coordinators and school administrators set school health and health promotion goals  
 

Community Needs Assessment

Emerson Hospital has undertaken a Community Health Needs Assessment to better understand and address the health needs of the Emerson Hospital community.
 

Community Health Benefits Advisory Group

The Emerson Hospital Community Benefits Advisory Group is an advisory committee to the Board of Directors. It assists the Board in overseeing the organization’s responsibilities to the communities it serves.

Jim Rand of Acton Receives Outstanding Volunteer Award at Emerson Hospital 6/12/2019

Since 2001, Jim Rand, Emerson's Volunteer of the Year award winner, has spent nearly all of his Thursdays volunteering at the hospital. His role is unique because he is the only volunteer at the hospital who does what he does. Jim uses his vast knowledge working for decades at Raytheon as an electronic systems engineer to help keep technology running smoothly throughout the hospital. 

Emerson Hospital Teams with IMPACT Melanoma to Sponsor 15 Sunscreen Dispensers in Concord and Surrounding Communities 6/3/2019

IMPACT Melanoma, a national non-profit organization dedicated to reducing the incidence of melanoma, is pleased to announce they have teamed with Emerson Hospital to deploy automatic sunscreen dispensers at 15 high-traffic locations, including parks and recreation facilities, beaches, rail trails, and athletic fields. The dispensers provide complementary sunscreen throughout Concord, Bedford, Westford, Hudson, Sudbury, Acton, and Maynard. 
 

Navigating the Medical System for Your Loved One with Dementia – July 24 6/20/2019

Join Emerson Hospital’s Care Management team for a free educational program about dementia for families and caregivers on Wednesday, July 24 from 6 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Emerson Hospital.
