Support Programs

Take advantage of an extensive roster of support services and groups designed to augment the medical care Emerson provides. Services range from physical therapy and home care, to support groups for patients and families with specific health conditions.
 

Health Screenings & Events

You can participate in a wide range of hospital-sponsored events including lectures, community health fairs, health screenings and more — many low-cost or free, and all locally accessible
 

Youth Risk Behavior Survey

This Emerson-sponsored biennial survey of public school students provides insight on timely topics, and helps health coordinators and school administrators set school health and health promotion goals  
 

Community Needs Assessment

Emerson Hospital has undertaken a Community Health Needs Assessment to better understand and address the health needs of the Emerson Hospital community.
 

Community Health Benefits Advisory Group

The Emerson Hospital Community Benefits Advisory Group is an advisory committee to the Board of Directors. It assists the Board in overseeing the organization’s responsibilities to the communities it serves.

Emerson’s Steinberg Wellness Center for Mind and Body Hosts Open House 3/5/2019

Emerson Hospital invites the community to an Open House of its Steinberg Wellness Center for Mind and Body on Saturday, March 30 from 2 p.m. -5 p.m. at 310 Baker Avenue, Concord. A variety of free demonstrations and lectures on the latest wellness topics, including acupuncture, yoga, self-defense, muscular therapies, rolfing bodywork and tai chi will be offered. 

Volunteers Needed for Spring Vacation Bike Camp in Groton3/4/2019

Volunteers are needed during April school vacation week, April 15 -19, to assist at a learn-to-bike camp at Lawrence Academy in Groton for children with special needs. 

It's Legal. What Should We Know about Marijuana? 3/11/2019

The community is invited to a free, educational program about marijuana and CBD on Thursday, March 28 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Emerson Hospital, Cheney Conference Room, 133 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Concord, MA. Panelists will provide information on marijuana and CBD and answer questions such as: What is it? How does it impact the brain and body? Are there medical benefits? Is there a safe consumption amount for daily functioning?
