If you or a loved one has Parkinson’s disease, it is important to know that you have convenient, local access to a specialized support group.
When: First and third Monday of the month, 2 p.m.
Where: The Great Room at Newbury Court, 80 Deaconess Rd., Concord, MA
The Parkinson’s support group provides information and emotional support for Parkinson’s patients, their caregivers and family members. Meetings on the first Monday of the month include a guest speaker and/or discussion to learn about Parkinson’s disease, its manifestations, emotional aspects, and how to deal with its symptoms. The mid-month meeting is for people with Parkinson’s and their caregivers to gather separately and support one another through group discussions and exchanges of information and experiences.
