Virtual Education Sessions

Join our Parkinson's care team and community partners for monthly education sessions. These online presentations offer informational and interactive sessions that will provide education, resources, and help to improve quality of life when living with Parkinson's disease. All sessions are free to attend and are held online via Zoom from 1-2 p.m. on the date indicated.

  • Pelvic Health and Parkinson’sAnna Benedix, PT, DPT, WCS, CLT, and Noam Eitan, PT, DPT
    This presentation will discuss bladder problems such as incontinence and retention, bowel problems including fecal incontinence and constipation, and when to work on your own versus when to come to physical therapy.

  • Parkinson’s Support GroupLiz Lyng, PDSG Coordinator at Newbury Court
    This presentation will discuss the many benefits that come from joining a support group. People with Parkinson’s disease and their caregivers are given opportunities to share information and resources with each other, as well as find empathy, encouragement and acceptance.
