Clinical Interests
Cognitive rehabilitation post-concussion or traumatic brain injury, treatment of aphasia, treatment of voice and airway disorders, Modified Barium Swallow studies, management of swallowing problems associated with head and neck cancer treatment, meditation and mindfulness for neurological health and rehabilitation
Ms. Lovette works with adults and adolescents with a variety of communication, cognitive, voice, and swallowing challenges. She earned her master’s degree in speech language pathology at the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill. Her approach is highly functional, focused on improving skills important for each individual’s unique needs and maximizing quality of life. She is trained in oncology rehabilitation and is a member of the Be Strong Cancer Care Team. She is also a registered yoga instructor and has presented on the effects of meditation and breath work on wellness and neurorehabiliation.
