Experience
Jocelyn Marsh graduated from Worcester State University in 2016 with her bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders and again in 2018 with her master's degree in speech language pathology. To follow her passion to work with adults, she began her career in a skilled nursing facility. Prior to joining Emerson as an outpatient speech language pathologist, she worked in an inpatient rehabilitation setting with specialized programs in stroke rehabilitation, brain injury rehabilitation, and Parkinson's disease. Ms. Hurst obtained her brain injury specialist certification in 2023. Her current interests include evidence-based, functional, and person-centered approaches to cognitive retraining, aphasia treatment, and dysphagia.
