McCall earned her master’s degree in nursing from Boston College in 2013. She is a board certified nurse practitioner. Previously, she was a nurse practitioner in thoracic surgery at UMass Memorial. She is excited to be a part of this team and help patients make positive changes in their lives.

April is a board-certified physician assistant who earned her bachelor's degree in nutrition from the University of Massachusetts in 2011 and her master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2014. Before joining the Emerson Center for Weight Loss she spent five years in primary care. In addition to her work as a clinical physician assistant, she also functions as the program coordinator.

Amy Rosen, PA-C Physician Assistant

Amy is a board-certified physician assistant at Emerson's Center for Weight Loss. Before coming here, she was a PA in neurology at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. Amy grew up in Buffalo, N.Y., but has lived in Massachusetts since 2016 with her husband and dog. She finds it "inspiring to be a part of a program where most patients end up in a much better place medically, physically, and emotionally after going through this weight loss journey with us. I feel very fortunate to be able to help guide them through to the end result that they want."

LeBron earned his master's degree in physician assistant studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences in 2012. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He uses his training to help ensure the best possible outcome for all patients.

Rebecca Hall, MA Medical Assistant/Clinical Office Coordinator

Rebecca is a nationally-certified medical assistant. Her initial training was in the U.S. Air Force as a medical service specialist working with the Aeromedical Evacuation Staging Facility at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. She has worked as a medical assistant in various specialties for the greater part of her adult life. She joined the Center for Weight Loss in January 2018 and has enjoyed this team and our patients since day one. In her view, “the pre- and post- operative bariatric journey is one where both patient and staff are a care team together, a sort of extended family. I admire the profound change our patients are willing to make to improve their quality of life both physically and mentally. It is an inspiration.” In her free time, she enjoys gardening, hiking and music. Rebecca is also the principal singer in a local jazz ensemble that performs at private functions, retirement communities and assisted living facilities.

Lisa Tardiff, MA Medical Assistant/Clinical Office Coordinator

Lisa is a certified medical assistant with more than 27 years of experience in a wide variety of medical-surgical specialties. She is caring and empathetic. She loves being on the front lines getting to know patients and helping them address any concerns they may have, as well as supporting them in meeting their goals. Since starting with the Emerson Center for Weight Loss in 2017, she has very much enjoyed being part of a talented and dynamic team of caring medical professionals, all striving for the same goals with the success of the patient as their top priority. In her free time Lisa likes hiking, camping, biking, reading, and music, as well as spending time with her two grandchildren.

Lauren Glidden, RD, LDN, Registered Dietitian
Lauren Glidden, RD, LDN Registered Dietitian

Lauren is a registered and licensed dietitian at the Emerson Center for Weight Loss. A career changer, she found her passion for nutrition later in life and is currently working towards her master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics from Framingham State University. She completed her dietetic internship in 2020. Prior to this, she attended Boston University and earned a bachelor’s degree in communications (2006), and then went on to earn a master’s degree in graphic design from the California Institute of the Arts (2010). She believes there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to nutrition and appreciates the opportunity to work closely with patients to help them take positive steps to reach their personal health goals.

Samantha Manero, MS, RD, LDN Registered Dietitian

Samantha is a registered and licensed dietitian at the Emerson Center for Weight Loss. Sam earned her bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies at Springfield College in 2016. She then went on to earn her master’s degree in nutrition and dietetics and complete her dietetic internship at Framingham State University in 2019. Sam is also quite passionate about movement and exercise, working as a fitness coach since June of 2019. One of Sam’s favorite aspects of her job is talking with and getting to know patients and their stories, as well as helping them achieve their goals in a way that makes sense for them and their lifestyles.

Andrea Killam, LICSW, Social Worker
Andrea Killam, LICSW Social Worker

Andrea received her bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1992 and received her master’s in social work from Salem State College in 1997. During her 23 years of psychiatric experience at McLean Hospital she worked in inpatient units, residential programs, partial hospital programs and outpatient care, culminating in a decade spent as the director of a program focused specifically on issues affecting women. Andrea also had a private practice for 15 years. She is delighted to be part of the team at the Emerson Center for Weight Loss and enjoys building relationships with patients and helping them achieve their goals.

James Rainville, Lead Clinical Office Coordinator
James Rainville Lead Clinical Office Coordinator

James has worked in a number of different roles and departments at Emerson for more than a decade. He was a patient care technician on the cardiac and orthopedic units, a unit coordinator and supervisor of the patient access department. As clinical office coordinator, James works with patients, other physician offices and insurance companies. James’ is one of the first smiling faces you see when entering the clinic, and he is thrilled to witness a patient's transformation after their hard work and dedication.
