New Midwives Join AFA OB/GYN

Yasmeen Bruckner, CNM, MSN and Esther Hausman, CNM, MPH, have recently joined AFA Obstetrics and Gynecology and are accepting patients. They are both certified nurse-midwives who provide gynecological and obstetrical care to women at AFA’s office located at 131 Old Road to Nine Acre Corner, Suite 830, in Concord. They may also see patients at AFA’s other offices in Sudbury, Westford and Leominster. 

Yasmeen Bruckner received her bachelor’s degree in biology from Whitman College and her master’s degree in nursing at Yale University School of Nursing. Ms. Bruckner completed her midwifery training at Yale-New Haven Hospital and Mt. Auburn Hospital. She is board-certified in midwifery. Her clinical interests include obstetrics, well-woman care, adolescent gynecology and family planning.

Esther Hausman received her bachelor’s degree in nursing and her master’s degree in public health from Boston University. She is board-certified in midwifery and is also a certified Birthing from Within™ mentor. Her clinical interests are obstetrics, vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC), adolescent and well woman gynecology, menopause/perimenopause and alternative and complementary therapies.
