Emerson Hospital Offers Yoga Healing for Concussions this Fall

The Emerson Wellness Center for Mind and Body is offering a unique Yoga Healing for Concussions class starting September 20.  The class targets people who are suffering from the effects of concussions through mindful breathing and gentle stretches.  It is designed to help concussion patients with emotional well-being, mental fatigue, anxiety, insomnia, headaches, strength, balance and physical endurance. No prior yoga experience is required. 

The Yoga Healing for Concussions class meets on Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Taught by Susan Chormann, CYT, the class is appropriate for anyone who is suffering from a concussion.  Participants will meet at the Emerson Wellness Center for Mind and Body, located at 310 Baker Avenue in Concord, near the new Residence Inn hotel. Free parking is available in the office park. The cost is $90 per person for a six-week session. Drop-in  rates are available.
