Self Defense Seminar on August 21 - Ideal for Students Going to College

Emerson’s Steinberg Wellness Center for Mind and Body is offering a self-defense seminar for teens and adults on August 21.  The seminar includes hands-on self-defense techniques and strategies for staying safe – it is ideal for college students. 

Taught by Johanna and Len Glazer, fourth-degree black belt instructors, the class is appropriate for those gaining independence, including teens who walk, bike or drive on their own. The instructors will teach safety techniques and strategies, and demonstrate how to escape challenging situations.

The class will take place Wednesday, August 21 from 7:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. at Emerson’s Steinberg Wellness Center for Mind and Body at 310 Baker Avenue in Concord.
